I’m Nikki, a mom of two and experienced designer with degrees in both Interior Design and Architecture. I have loved design as long as I can remember; often drawing floor plans in second grade and then re-arranging my room every month, in high school.
I have been passionate about residential design since my first year of design school. After having my son and designing his nursery, I began helping others create spaces that fit their personalities. I started Mini Magnolia Designs as a way to help others create the perfect rooms for their children to grow and thrive in. In 2015, after getting several requests for family spaces, I changed the name to Vive Workshop.
Everyone should have a place that feels like their own, no matter their budget. I try to take the information a client gives me and give them ideas that they could never dream of. I’m a firm believer in working with the client in the look and feel of the home, rather than telling them exactly what I think from the beginning. I’m not scared of color and my design style is often considered eclectic because I love mixing patterns and finishes. My favorite thing to do is incorporate your favorite items from travels, family, and your past to create a space that describes you.
I offer both e-design and full service design, to read more click on the “services” tab. It is my belief that your home should work for you, make you feel less stressed, and allow you to create memories and do things you enjoy. That is what good design can do.
Some of my work can be seen on Houzz, Project Nursery, and Apartment Therapy.
