Bella Transitional Project

Funny story about this client, lifestyle blogger and influencer (among her other jobs), Liz Landry. We are both from Lafayette, Louisiana and went to high school together. She was a few years older so we didn’t really know each other, but I knew her brother. I had just started my daughter in dance, just after moving back to Texas, and Liz walked into the trial class with her daughter. I instantly recognized her; it really is a small world!

This project was one of the first projects I took after moving back and re-opening my business. Liz was wanting to freshen up her main living spaces and revamp her primary bedroom completely. She had a really good sense of what she liked, but needed someone to help her bring it all together. Every part of her home got a fresh coat of paint. In the living room, we added new furniture to pair with her existing sofas, side table, and tv console. Her kitchen cabinets were painted, the dark countertops were replaced to match the lighter one on the island, and the backsplash was replaced. In the primary bedroom, we started from an art piece she had brought in from another room and a piece of pottery she had with her previous decor. The colors of those pieces really set the tone for the design. Now, her home has a brighter feel with a slight touch of glam and the transitional style she leans towards.
