Times, they are a changing...

This weekend was a big one for us at the Tag house...

Abram has been having some sleep regression. Part of us thinks it is caused by the "wonder week" he is going through, but we have also noticed he is becoming increasingly aware of his surroundings and we were afraid we were waking him up. SOOO....

We moved him to HIS crib in HIS room, Saturday night. I thought I was ready to have my room back to myself, but it was way harder than I thought. I just stared at the monitor and imagined seeing his similar face at my 21 week ultrasound. I am so sappy this week! It's also probably because he is turning 3 months ,on Friday, and will no longer be my newborn baby. I keep thinking of this saying, that I also saw on another mom's post...

Every day I look forward to a time when I can get more sleep. Sleep shapes our days right now. At the same time, I just try and soak up every bit of Abram at this age because I LOVE it! He is getting such a happy, wonderful personality and I see him learning more every day. I probably have a trillion pictures of him...we have photo shoots at least once a day when I think he is doing something cute or new {almost all the time}.
To top off the bedroom change, tonight he will be wearing his first 6 month pj's because he can't straighten out his legs in 3 month anymore :(. Today is also the last day he will be in size 1 diapers. You can now see why I feel like he needs to give me time to adjust haha.

This weekend was all about fun, family time. All the checklists were pushed aside while we went to the Downtown Aquarium for the first time with my best friend {who has a 5 month old and an almost 3 year old}. We also visited Matt's college roommate {who has a 15 month old}, and old boss {who has a baby due this month}. Lots of socializing for Mr. Abram. He loved the aquarium...they had light up fish hanging from the ceiling that were getting him so excited. We also got to take a carousel and train ride. The train had a glass ceiling so the trees above fascinated him. A few tanks extended over our heads so he would just stare at the water from his stroller.

Oh by the way...we are still struggling with his sleep...the crib is so far no better/no worse than the pack-n-play... Come on baby boy!

Have a great week y'all!
